Trading in your phone is simple and only takes a few minutes.
1. Find your phone – Search for your phone using the manufacturer or model number (ex: Razr, BlackBerry 8320, Motorola, iPhone). Use the picture in the search results to be sure that you’re trading in the right phone. Next, answer a few questions to get the real-time trade-in value for your phone. Then, provide some contact information, and you’re ready to ship.
2. Ship it for free – Flipswap offers a free shipping label. Just print it out and slap it on a package to ship your phone in for free. (Did we mention it’s free?)
3. Get paid – Step 3 is the easiest. Depending on your payment option, expect to receive your payment about 3 weeks after your phone(s) arrive at Flipswap’s warehouse.
Plant a tree with Flipswap’s reLeaf Project
Flipswap is able to re-purpose nearly all of the millions of mobile phones that we receive each year. Unfortunately, some of those phones can not be reused and must be recycled. Flipswap has always insisted on the most eco-friendly methods from our recycling partners. Now we’re taking it a step further – we now pledge to plant a tree for every phone that is recycled through the inStore service.
Flipswap estimates that about 25,000 trees were planted through the reLeaf initiative in 2008. More trees mean cleaner air to breathe, less carbon dioxide to heat things up and cleaner water for drinking and washing your hybrid car.
